Summer Fun

Hi Hi!  It's Molly here.

I hijack Cora's blog, because Emily and I had lots of fun the other day and wanted to share it with you. We are so sad that we are being retired, BUT we are active and very much apart of this family here. We will always be. So here are the pictures of what we did.

Emily and I went outside and played.  We talked and talked and really got to know each other all over again.
Then we played Hide and Go Seek. That is one of my favorite games!  Emily was It first and I got to hide. We switched when she found me, and did that a couple of times.

Emily favorite Game is Tag. So we played that. I was It first because she was it in the first game first.

After our game of tag, we decided just to go for a walk. It was a really lovely day out and we saw lots of birds.  Mostly sparrows and scrub jays. We even saw a humming bird!

Soon we sat down and had a drink of water. Don't tell MissE, but we got it out of the hose!  It was so much fun.  I showed Emily how to drink from it. MissE doesn't mind all that much, as she used to do that when she was little. I was kind and didn't spray Emily, although I was thinking about it.

MissE came out a little later and wanted us to pose for a picture. She thought we were so cute, just the two of us playing.

Emily wanted to climb the vine so we did that too. She is a really good climber, me not so much.

We also played soldiers.  Here we are marching, standing up as straight as can be.

It was a wonderful day, and one I hope to continue with my best friend Emily.  Thank you for sharing it with me, and Cora for letting me hop onto her blog.

Hello Everyone,
It's MissE here. That is what the girls love to call me, and I don't mind one bit. I wanted to pop onto Cora's blog and just share a little about me and what I do, who I am. I have always loved stuffed animals, and it seems dolls as well, ever since I was little. For some reason, I don't know what but they just captivated my imagination. There is a picture of me at a historic site, around 10 years old or so with a smurf, yes smurfs are older than you think, in my hands. I would also always play with Barbie and enacted many story lines for them.

Fast forward a few years, and my Grandmother and Mother started giving me porcelain dolls. I loved them, they were display only of course, but I really did love to display them. That is how I got started collecting dolls, so to speak. In my collection today I still have a few of my porcelain dolls, some got ruined in storage. I have American Girl dolls, Barbie, Hearts for Hearts, Harmony Club, and Novi Stars.

I want you all to understand. If you have at least 1 AG doll, consider yourself blessed. Well anything really, but we are the lucky ones. Dolls are fabulous, they really are. They are wonderful to have and to cherish. Also remember that no matter someone's age, you can still love dolls. My Grandmother collects Madam Alexander dolls. So don't look down on someone's age just because they are older. There is never an age limit for dolls. Don't be ashamed to collect, and don't make fun of people who do.

Love,
MissE
